Roger Dubuis awarded with best watchmaking campaign of 2012

The new Roger Dubuis advertising campaign hailed as the best watchmaking campaign of 2012

The new Roger Dubuis advertising campaign has won the Premier Prix du Jury in the "Print/Poster" category, awarded on 26 October 2012 by the Swiss publishing house, Ringier due to its break from conventional watchmaking campaigns.
Each of the four visuals invites people to discover the world of the Genevan watchmaker through the prism of imagination, audacity and magic.
It expresses the very genetic make-up of the Manufacture Roger Dubuis, whose prestige is only matched by the excellence of its collections.

Since 2007, the Swiss publishing house has awarded the best watchmaking advertising campaigns of the year, from a technical and aesthetic standpoint.
For the fifth edition, the independent jury of communications, publishing and advertising professionals has chosen the new campaign by the Genevan watchmaker ROGER DUBUIS as the 2012 watchmaking campaign of the year.
Won over by a powerful, imaginative and highly developed concept, the Jury was impressed by the fantasy aspect of the campaign that expresses the DNA of Robert Dubuis through strong symbols and visual elements.

One of the recognised strengths of the Genevan watchmaker, Roger Dubuis, is its capacity to turn dreams into reality.
Since it was established in 1995, the Fine Watchmaking company has constantly sought to surprise. This invitation to a dreamlike and imaginary world inspires all the Manufacture's artisans to create the boldest designs that have laid the foundations of a new genre of watchmaking.
The new La Monégasque, Excalibur, Pulsion and Velvet collections are part of a strong and distinctive fantasy world. The four collections are powerfully represented in the new Roger Dubuis advertising campaign, a real tribute to the inventive spirit that has driven the brand since it was founded.

Such was the strength of its artistic requirements and expectations; it took the brand several months to express strength and passion, contemporary spirit, aesthetic originality, technical excellence and seductive capacity in images.
It took a considerable amount of work to translate Roger Dubuis' DNA into strong symbols and visual elements. While keeping the concept of 100% in-house production in its line of vision, the idea and all the elements used in the artwork were individually reviewed at the Manufacture.
