What the water reveals
Excalibur Lady of the Lake Sylvan green
Viviane lives where the forest meets the water. In the Arthurian tale, she is the enchantress of Brocéliande, a figure who governs through intuition and quiet authority. Her realm is not one of swords or sieges, but of depth, reflection, and the knowledge that what lies beneath the surface matters most. The Excalibur Lady of the Lake in Sylvan Green captures that other side of her story. On the dial, a three-dimensional mosaic of green Mother-of-Pearl shifts with the light the way water shifts with movement, offering a different perspective at every angle. A 36 mm pink gold Métier d’Art creation, shaped, set and finished as a jewel.

The Enchantress enters the tale
Since 2013
Since 2013, the Excalibur collection has given shape to the Arthurian epic, dial by dial. The Knights of the Round Table, the Forest of Brocéliande, the Sword itself, each chapter has deepened the tale. With the Lady of the Lake, the story speaks through a feminine voice for the first time. And with this Sylvan Green creation, it speaks through the language of Métier d’Art: hand-set marquetry, Moonstone, and the patience of artisans.
Where the forest meets the lake
A sylvan green dial
The 36 mm rose gold case frames a dial that moves between textures and depths. Fragments of green Mother-of-Pearl, each lacquered in a different shade, are hand-placed into wave-shaped cells milled from brass, their contours polished and treated in rose gold. The surface undulates like the waters of Brocéliande, catching light differently at every angle. At 12 o’clock, the Roger Dubuis inscription is transferred and powdered in rose gold. On the two-sided flange, rose gold indexes contrast against a green CVD-treated surface, finished with a pale green lacquer at the centre. At 6 o’clock, a half-sphere of Moonstone sits on a rotating Mother-of-Pearl disc, marking the small seconds: a passage between the surface and what lies beneath. The lambskin strap in Sylvan Green, with its pearled texture, completes the composition
Precious by every measure
Métiers d'art
The Excalibur Lady of the Lake in Sylvan Green brings together marquetry, gem-setting and hand-finishing within a single dial. The case combines polished edges and satin-brushed surfaces, each transition executed by hand. The crown, shaped like a ring, is finished with a transparent lacquer over the engraved Roger Dubuis logo. The fluted bezel, a signature of the Maison, is set with 56 white diamonds totalling 0.73 carats, with four additional diamonds on each of the inclined lugs. Applied hour markers in rose gold electroplating stand against the green CVD-treated background, filled with a tone-on-tone lacquer. From the mosaic dial to the Moonstone indicator, every element has been shaped, assembled and finished by the hands of the Maison’s artisans.
Automatic caliber
RD830
Visible through the sapphire crystal caseback, the RD830 automatic mechanical caliber counts 183 components, each finished to high watchmaking standards. Côtes de Genève mark the mainplate; snail-graining traces fine concentric striations across its surface. A 22K gold openworked oscillating weight, crafted in-house, completes the architecture. Like the lake that conceals Viviane’s realm, the true depth of this creation is found within: precise, refined, and made to last.
