AWAKENING THE DRAGON

Unlike our previous Excalibur Dragon timepiece released in 2020, this Monotourbillon depicts the creature in a more abstract way - leaving more room for interpretation and inviting the wearer to set their imagination free.

The dragon’s 27 pieces are made of pink gold – polished on the top surface and with black lacquered sides. 25 different levels help to create a bold 3D effect. On the caseback, the same dragon shape is metallised on the inside of the sapphire crystal.

MASTER OF THE TOURBILLON

The tourbillon is one of watchmaking’s greatest challenges. Our unique approach is to always display the complication in a skeleton movement. This requires more time and dedicated skills, but results in a beautifully pure and uncluttered display.

A YEAR FOR GOLD

Sitting on the wrist, the 42mm case of the watch is built from pink gold and is mounted with a robust brass flange, which itself has been given a pink gold galvanic treatment, along with indexes filled with black Super-LumiNova™.

THE WISDOM OF MATERIALS

The RD512SQ Calibre is optimized with 72 hours of power reserve. To resist surrounding forces, the Flying Tourbillon includes an upper cage in non-magnetic Cobalt Chrome, and a lower cage in titanium – also non-magnetic and twice lighter than steel.
