Knights of the Round Table The Metamorph Merlin
For more than a decade, the Knights of the Round Table have carried the Arthurian legend onto the dials of the Maison. The fourth book follows Merlin, wizard, prophet and counsellor to King Arthur. After his omniscience and his enchantments, this final chapter turns to the power he kept for the forest: the freedom to change form, and to walk Brocéliande as a white stag. The Metamorph Merlin, our last chapter, limited to 28 pieces.

Book IV, chapter III
In Brocéliande, Merlin passes through the trees as a white stag, between the visible and the invisible worlds. The Metamorph Merlin takes its green from that forest: a green CVD coating on glass and pink gold, from the base of the dial to the flange and the crown, set against the pink gold of the 45 mm case.
Engraved for the first time
The case
For the first time in the collection, the pink gold case middle is engraved by hand, in micro-relief, around seventy hours of work for a single case. The white stag, symbol of metamorphosis, then the sage holding his book, a quiet nod to the first chapter. Sword-shaped guards frame the crown, itself inlaid with green CVD-coated pink gold, and a sapphire crystal ring runs under the bezel.

The knights
Around the dial, the twelve knights of the Round Table take their positions. Each one stands six millimetres tall and is cast in pink gold before passing into the hands of a specialist engraver, who sculpts, engraves and patinates it over up to three days, until it holds its own posture and its own personality. That is some 36 days of craft for the twelve knights.
A forest of 57 blocks
The dial
Fifty-seven blocks, four materials, four decoration techniques. Shot-blasted and polished glass with green CVD coating, polished pink gold, transparent glass and Crystalium inlays rise to different heights on the hexagonal language of the Giant's Causeway, born in the first chapter.
