Chapter_03
A genevan heritage
Rooted in Geneva and born between the shores of the lake and the heart of horological excellence, Hommage La Placide is an emotive tribute to Mr. Roger Dubuis. Celebrating the 30th anniversary, it is a creation where mastery and emotions are united to carry forward the Maison spirit.
Inspired by the art of time
In 1995, Mr. Roger Dubuis created the Hommage collection to express his gratitude to the watchmakers and friends who inspired him and his career. 30 years later, Hommage La Placide pays tribute to the founder himself – his vision, savoir-faire, and legacy. This limited edition celebrates the Maison history while embracing today’s expressivity and technicity.
An expressive complication
In 1989, Mr. Roger Dubuis redefined his favorite complication: the Perpetual Calendar. Through a co-patented bi-retrograde display, he gave expressivity and dynamism to time. La Placide embodies this signature of the Maison.
