A universe of intricate details
The journey into the cosmos continues with innovative and artistic components. The fine gold and sapphire engraving and the 3D galvanic growth techniques create a dynamic dial, bringing its cosmic elements to life. A pink gold spaceship leaves a shimmering trail, revealing the poignant message: “We come in peace.” Dr. Woo's symbols are etched on the bezel, while his signature spider is further filled with black ink. Pink gold nebulas swirl around a central "black hole" spiral and add greater depth. Turning the watch over, the caseback reveals a radiating spiral pattern along with the artist’s quote. Housed in a rare pink gold and titanium case of 42mm, this timepiece blends celestial narrative with high technical performance.
Galactic tourbillon
The RD515 calibre features a tourbillon at 7 o'clock, highlighting Roger Dubuis' signature design, with a transformed upper cage to realize Dr. Woo's vision. Inspired by the shape of the Tourbillon Galaxy, the tourbillon cage features a lightweight titanium lower cage, and an upper bridge reduced to its most minimalistic form, crafted from mirror-polished stainless steel. Certified by the Poinçon de Genève, the RD515 calibre boasts a 72-hour power reserve, and each of the 193 components is hand-decorated with 16 distinct finishes.
“Let’s work together to uncover the mysteries of the cosmos and unlock the secrets of the universe. To whoever finds this message, know that we are seekers of knowledge and explorers of the unknown.”
